Time flies and opportunities quickly fade into history. I'm thankful to Ryan in giving me this opportunity to share various images with you. The rail scene changes. Let me share some highlights such as the Colorado narrow gauge scene and the Ski Train. Take a few minutes to wander around the website to find my rails and aircraft encounters mainly found around Colorado. Railroading still offers unique high wide moves and specials such as the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus trains (red and blue units). Aircraft is another interest - enjoy the warbirds that have visited airports like Centennial and Rocky Mountain Metro Airport (formerly Jeffco Airport). Their time may be short. Thankfully, their dedicated crews have kept them flying. Denver's a popular route for private varnish (PV's) which use Amtrak's California Zephyr, trains 5 and 6. I've added several encounters with these personalized cars that have transversed the Colorado Rockies. Their names evoke a bygone period that I'm too young to have experienced. Watch for Silver Lariat and the GrandLuxe Express (ex-American Orient Express) which went bankrupt August 29, 2008. Enjoy your visit to Colorado!
